Three weeks ago our first placement went home to her momma. I just have to keep telling myself that God knows what He's doing. (See I even typed it 2 x's.) Within a week of her leaving we received a call for twins. How overjoyed I was in that phone call!
The reason for my joy:
This summer the twins came to stay with us for a week. At the end of the week we were easily attached. We assured them they would always have a home with us. I continued to pray for them and think about them. Now here they are again.
It's a God thing for sure!
But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You;
Let them ever shout for joy,
because you defend them;
Let those also who love Your name
Be joyful in You.
Psalm 5:11
I am enjoying being a foster parent more than imaginable. The blessings God has bestowed upon Lance and I are eminent. Both of us have been able to testify of His greatness and the need for foster care. If anything comes of our experience it will be to spread the word of the need to provide a safe and loving home for children who have lost everything.
